When you are caught in a frenzy it is really difficult to prise yourself out of it. It is much worse when all around you, others are caught in it as well. You just sink deeper and deeper into that black hole. Your pain threshhold gets higher and higher. Logic does not prevail. The only way out is to go cold turkey!
