Today is the S's last exam day for this term. Yippee! Was planning to bring the kids to Castle Beach (at East Coast Park) on Sunday where they can build professional looking sand castles. Guess what? S told me she wanted to go to her friend's house this sunday from 2 to 6. My little girl is growing up. She would rather spend time with her friends then her family building sand castles (which I know she loves doing). I have no choice. Gotta learn to let go. Will have to let her go, or she is going to resent us keeping her away from her friends. Now, I dont even feel like going to the beach. It will not be a family outing then. And when N finds out we are not going, HE is going to be upset too. Sigh. Maybe that's why the week seems so long.

Eh? Why cannot drop her off at her friend's place and still go for the sand-castle with your son?
Hi Mott
Can, la. But then it is no more a family outing. Then next week, when we want to do something else, she will sulk and say she want to build sand castle, and we went without her. You know, I cant seem to win when it comes to things like this.
