Attitude is Important

I have always told my children that their attitude towards work was very important. Look at this - it proves it!!


If:

A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z

Is represented as:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26.

Then

H-A-R-D-W-O-R-K

8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

And:

K-N-O-W-L-E-D-G-E

11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%

But:

A-T-T-I-T-U- D-E

1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%!!

Moving on:

Take a look at how far the love of God will take you:

L-O-V-E-O-F-G-O-D

12+15+22+5+15+6+7+15+4 = 101%

Therefore, one can conclude with mathematical certainty that:

While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, It's the Love of God that will put you over the top!

Praise the Lord!

Didn't realised the relationship between numbers and alphabets.
I learn something new everyday. N+E+W=42% increase in knowledge a day.

The best effort of men, is nothing to God. We can try to put in close to 100%, but if that is not what God has in mind for us, then it will be zero.

Stay-at-home Mum, this is also the same thing I tell my kids.
I always tell them this when they rush out of the door last minute to go to school or my son to his part time job.

I then remind them that if they don't prepare themselve for work and give their 99% at least, they won't keep a job for long.

I have copied and paste this to email them, is it ok with you?

If not, please let me know. I thought I could reiterate what I said by showing them this but they don't read blogs.

What's actually amazing about that post, is that that's a very common thing to see in Judaism-- that's called Gematria. The Torah (Old Testament) is written in Hebrew, and traditionally each Hebrew character has an assigned number. Scholars and Rabbis then spend great deals of time doing arithmetic gymnastics to come to the same kind of conclusion as this from the text of the Torah.
